NDIS Plan and Self-Managed Purchases | The Tubie Movement

HOW TO PURCHASE USING YOUR NDIS FUNDING

You may be eligible to use your NDIS funding to make a purchase from The Tubie Movement if you are self-managed or plan-managed. We recommend you seek advice from your support coordinator or plan manager if you are unsure.

Please follow this step-by-step guide:

If You Are Plan-Managed:

The Plan Manager/Third Party Agency pays us directly for resources. YOU will need to send them the invoice. Before we begin processing your order, payment will need to CLEAR in our account.

How to order:

  1. Add items to your cart.
  2. Please enter the participant's name, NDIS number, and any other required information by your NDIS plan manager in the notes box in your cart and proceed to checkout.
  3. Enter customer details (NDIS participant) and shipping details (where/who will receive the items).
  4. Proceed to payment methods.
  5. SELECT "NDIS Plan Managed" – this will allow you to 'checkout' without payment.
  6. In your confirmation email, you will see a PDF link to your invoice, which includes payment details for YOU to forward to your plan manager for payment. (Unfortunately, we are unable to send invoices to your plan manager unless they are the primary contact on the order.)
  7. If the email is not received directly to your inbox, check your junk or spam folder.
  8. As soon as payment is received in our account, we will process the order, post the items to the address provided, and send you the tracking details.
  9. Please note all orders are handmade to order, which is why items are not made or printed until payment clears.

If You Are Self-Managed:

Option A: Pay Upfront

  1. You can order from the website as normal and pay upfront using our payment options.
  2. Please enter the participant's name and NDIS number in the notes box in your cart and proceed to checkout.
  3. You can submit your invoice/receipt to NDIA yourself or forward your confirmation email for reimbursement.
  4. As we receive payment upfront, we start processing and printing your order as normal. Plan-managed participants can also choose this option.

Option B: Pay Later (No Out-of-Pocket Expense)

  1. Add items to your cart. Please enter the participant's name and NDIS number in the notes box in your cart and proceed to checkout.
  2. Enter customer details and shipping details.
  3. Proceed to payment methods, where you can select the "NDIS Self-Managed" payment method at checkout.
  4. This is a PAY LATER option and will allow you to draw down funds first.
  5. In your confirmation email, you will see a PDF link to your invoice, which includes payment details for YOU to upload to the NDIS portal to draw funds first.
  6. If the email is not received directly to your inbox, check your junk or spam folder.
  7. Once you receive the funds, you pay us directly. Our invoice includes payment details for you. Please send us an email advising that payment has been made, including your order number and/or the name on the invoice.
  8. As soon as payment is received, we begin processing and printing your items.

If NDIA-Managed:

We are not currently a registered provider and cannot provide NDIA invoices.
